CORRECTION: Interior Secretary Burgum’s Big Sky Property And Yellowstone Club Holdings Shrouded In Secrecy With 2026 Financial Disclosure Unreleased

Multi-Million-Dollar Luxury Condo For Sale Is Registered To Separate Lone View LLC Not Associated With Burgum

HELENA, MT — CORRECTION: It turns out Interior Secretary Doug Burgum's luxury condo at Big Sky Resort is not for sale. The condo registered under Lone View, LLC is not Burgum’s, despite his 2025 financial disclosure listing the entity Lone View, LLC. Burgum’s Big Sky and Yellowstone Club holdings are under the assumed name of Lone Peak View, LLC on the Montana Secretary of State website, but no associated properties are listed in Montana’s cadastral database. Burgum is still one of only three Cabinet members whose 2026 annual financial disclosure has not been made public.

“This raises more questions about Doug Burgum’s financial disclosure and his elaborate web of financial interests, including his property and land holdings worth upwards of $25 million in Montana’s private and exclusive members-only Yellowstone Club and the Big Sky area,” said Save Our Parks spokesperson Jayson O’Neill. “What is Burgum hiding and why hasn’t he released his 2026 annual financial disclosure statement as required by law?”

A North Dakota business search identifies Lone View, LLC as an entity of Burgum’s. His only available financial disclosure lists Lone View, LLC and a Big Sky condominium owned at the LLC level valued at between $5 and $25 million, which generated annual rent or royalties of $100,000 to $1 million last year. The Interior Secretary’s financial disclosure also lists an entity named YC Holdings, LLC — a business entity not registered in Montana or North Dakota —  identifying his ‘ownership in a private members' community’ in Big Sky valued between $100,000 and $250,000, with an income of $21,948.

Federal ethics law still requires Senate-confirmed officials to file an annual public financial disclosure report (OGE Form 278e) listing their assets, income and liabilities. 2026 annual reports were due May 15. OGE's public index of Cabinet-level disclosures shows no 2026 annual report for Burgum. To date, 18 of 21 Cabinet-level officials have a 2026 annual reports on file with OGE. Only three do not: Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Energy Secretary Chris Wright, who is also a member of the elitist Yellowstone Club.

Burgum must come clean about his delayed 2026 annual financial disclosure, release it, be held accountable for its delay, and fully disclose his private membership and property holdings in the members-only Yellowstone Club.
