Save Our Parks is a campaign to save America's parks and public lands—from our most beloved national parks and heritage sites to national forests, wildlife refuges, and public lands. The unprecedented assault by Donald Trump's administration and his cronies on America's shared natural heritage must be checked and thwarted. Save Our Parks is an accountability effort aimed at informing, exposing, and combating Trump, billionaire Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and their cronies’ systematic dismantling of America’s national parks and public lands. 

Make no mistake, between Trump, DOGE, and Republican’s draconian budget cuts, hiring freezes, and workforce reductions, the entire 640-million-acre American park and public lands system is at risk, jeopardizing visitor safety, wildlife and environmental stewardship, multi-use management and access, park user experience, scientific research, public access, and the communities and regional economies that depend on vibrant parks and public lands for their well-being and livelihoods.

Park staff, including scientists, are already being forced to take on additional duties, like cleaning toilets, after nearly a quarter workforce reduction across the National Park Service since January. The actions taken by Trump and his allies will ripple across all public lands, leading to unnecessary harms, delays, confusion, poor service delivery, degraded recreational experiences, increased user conflicts, compromised wildlife habitat management, deferred maintenance across trail systems and facilities, and potentially deadly consequences for both wildlife and visitors.
